2009 Pre-Season Training

As normal our preseason nets will take place at Walhampton School. Night/start date/time TBC news will folow Pre-season fitness training Sunday 5-6.30pm April only (all ages) NEW FOR 2009 SEASON 1st & 2nd XI training Thursday nights 6-8pm (starts late April outside) Colts training (under 17) Monday nights 6-8pm (starts late April outside) Colts training (under 13/11's) saturday am (TBC)

Club Training Facilities

The club train at their home ground, which sits on the top of Barnes Lane, MIlford on sea, Hampshire. We have two all weather nets, as well as specialist training equipment for colts, including driving and shot mats. Last season's training emphasised fielding techniques, which improved the whole way through the season. This season we which to improve our fitness as well as technique in the nets.

Health and safety

All under 18's when using the nets supervised or not must wear helmets, it is a legal requirement. This also applies in matches (league and freindlies). Also wicket keepers under 18 must also wear a helmet when standing up to the stumps at all times.
